Loss Control Manager – Managed the Fresno Division’s Loss Control Department, which included five consultants and one secretary.

Provided accident prevention assistance to larger accounts services. Responsible for consultant services that were provided to over 1000 accounts, generating approximately $75 million/year in Workers Compensation premiums.

Senior Engineering Representative – Provided safety engineering services to large commercial accounts located throughout the San Joaquin Valley.

Completed detailed engineering reports to Underwriting identifying hazards, related recommendations, and provided opinion of insurability for this multi-line insurance company.

PROFESSIONAL SAFETY EXPERIENCE
June 1991 to January 1994

Mr. Fleming has provided safety engineering consultation to various companies located in Kings, Tulare and Kern counties. He has provided consulting services to a multitude of manufacturing and building specialties including: heavy and light construction, meat packing and slaughtering, oil field construction, logging, truss manufacturing, convalescent hospitals, light steel industries, cotton seed oil facilities, wineries, lumber yards, trucking operations, etc.

Consulting services included formulating and maintaining safety programs, organizing and training safety committees, developing and implementing supervisor training programs, interpreting Cal-OSHA safety orders, training employees and analyzing injury trends.

Mr. Fleming has performed industrial hygiene surveys that included: lead, heat, noise, CO2, Chlorine, asbestos and other occupational health exposures. Mr. Fleming has recommended measures and full programs for controlling exposure to these substances.
