Position as a Traffic Law and investigative consultant on the California Vehicle Code as it applies in vehicular accident reconstruction. Evaluate files for correct application of Police Procedures. Involved in the collection and the analysis of field data and expert witness testimony.

1990 to Present

Investigative consultant in accident scene investigations, accident report review and analysis and interpretation of the laws of the road as set forth in the California Vehicle Code.

CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL
1973 – 2005

Traffic Officer with the California Highway Patrol. Promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Trained and functioned in the field as a Motor Officer (motorcycles) and State Traffic Officer. Worked as a Field Training Officer and in the Recruitment Program. Held positions as a School Bus Officer and Evidence Officer and was a Radar Instructor/Certifier. Was an Accident Investigations Officer and the Area Coordinator for training in the Advanced Techniques of Accident Investigations. Designated as the Alternate Area Commander, fulfilling the Area Commander’s duties in his absence.

BIG VALLEY TRAFFIC SCHOOL
1990 – 1994

Owner/Operator of Big Valley Traffic School located in Fresno, California. Provided instruction on the laws of the road and traffic accident prevention. Managed and maintained all required records submitted to the State of California.

UNITED STATES NAVY
1967 – 1970

Enlisted in the United States Navy. Trained as a Hospital Corpsman and subsequently trained as a Field Technician. Was subsequently attached to the United States Marine Corps and served a tour of duty in Viet Nam with the First Reconnaissance Battalion.
