J₂ Engineering conducts fundamental research on vehicle deceleration and the determination of the cefficient of friction between the tires and the roadway surfaces. Our research has focused on an analysis of vehicle braking prior to wheel lock-up and deceleration changes caused by braking on different types of roadway surfaces.
