June 1968 to August 1988
Civil Engineer Officer - Held various Air Force engineering positions of increasing
complexity and responsibility throughout a 20-year Air Force career. Responsible for
direct management and supervision of engineers and craft technicians in the day-to-day
administration of Air Force construction and facility maintenance and repair projects
ranging from runway, roads, utility systems and mission support facilities. Oversight
included on-site inspections of work in progress to insure compliance with design,
construction and safety standards. Retired as Lieutenant Colonel.
